- Dunes in Piscinas
A real sandy desert which stretches as far as the sea. The boundless Mediterranean plants stretch all around among wild olives and centuries-old junipers.
- Mount Arcuentu
It is an impressive extinct volcan, which has inspired thousands of legends: on its top you can admire the ruins of a castle dating back to the "giudicale" age.
- Columnar basalts
It is a very rare geological formation which looks like organ-pipes, which formed during Pliocene age, because of a volcanic eruption: They are in the village.
- Montevecchio woods
Holm-oak, cork-oak and common oak forests hide the spectral structures of abandoned mines. The vegetation is very rich and is the kingdom of Sardinian deer.
- Thick stones of Perdas Longas
Menhirs, which symbolize the Mother Goddess and the phallus; they date back to 2000 B.C. and stand near the ponds of San Giovanni and Santa Maria, about 20 km from Guspini, towards Oristano.
- Nuraghe Melas
Its a nuraghe, which dates back to the XIII century B.C. and has a complex structure: it it on the SS 126, towards Terralba.
- S'Aurecci nuraghe fortress
It dates back to the nineteenth century B.C.; it is west of the nuraghe Melas. You can get there going along the S.S. 126, towards Terralba, taking the road towards Santadi at km 98. Go on for about 3 km.
- Nuraghe Brunku 'e S'Orku
It dates back to the XIII century B.C. and you can catch sight of it from the Provincial Road of Santadi.
- The punic-roman town of Neapolis,
The remains stand about 20 km from Guspini, near the San Giovanni pond. Some small ex-voto statues have been found there: they have the typical Syrian-Palestinian iconography and are preserved inside the Archaeological National Museum in Cagliari; there are also some thermal buildings.
- Spanish tower of Flumentorgiu
Built in the sixteenth century: the fortification is 11 m high and it base is 13 m in diameter. It is close to the tourist village of Torre dei Corsari.
- Montevecchio village and its mine
In the centre of a metalliferous complex, which was one of the most productive of Italian industry. It is worth noting the Head Office Palace and its wonderful frescoes and the majestic nineteenth-century plants of Piccalinna inside the western mine, inside a beautiful wild environment.
- Ingurtosu village and its mine structures
The village houses are scattered along the steep slope, which is covered by a thick pine forest. The mining Head Office is a beautiful building, built like an English castle and equipped with wooden-galleries. The Lord Brassey's washery plants are very interesting: you can see them along the road towards Piscinas.
- Tonnara in Porto Palmas
The plant has been built in the XVII century by the Genoese: it is a characteristic and complex structure, which has a remarkable environmental value.
- Knife Museum
An artisan's shop stands in the centre, in the fatherland of arburesa: it has been changed into a museum. There are some interesting objects: the biggest knife in the world stands out among them.
- The mining life museum
An interesting exhibition has been set up inside the very beautiful nineteenth-century administrative department of Montevecchio. You can also look at objects and photographs of life inside the mines.
