The School
Inlingua Alghero is located on the north-western part of the island of Sardinia. The nearby Alghero airport (AHO) has handy and inexpensive direct flights to London, East Midlands, Liverpool, Dublin, Barcelona, Madrid, Düsseldorf, Bremen and Frankfurt.
You'll spend your days in Alghero putting into practice the Italian you learn during your morning classes, dining on intoxicatingly good local Mediterranean cuisine, playing in the warm sea, taking fun excursions along the coast and eating delicious home-made ice-cream while walking along the boardwalk in the city centre.
Courses
Inlingua Alghero offers a wide variety of Italian language courses at a wide range of levels. There are individual lessons for the traveller who craves flexibility, as well as Crash Intensity Programmes for those who have to learn Italian fast! However, our most popular is the HOLIDAY COURSE - 20 hours a week of fun, informative and challenging Italian language lessons.
Method
At inlingua Alghero, we use the tried and tested "direct method" of teaching. Students are encouraged to participate actively in the lesson and in their learning, with an emphasis on speaking in Italian straight away! We also include seminars on Italian culture, local traditions and music to help you keep up with new trends, idiomatic expressions and even Italian gestures (a language unto itself).
