Along the road from Siliqua to Nuxis (CA) (SS 293), on top of a hill, there is the castle of Acquafredda. The ruins (walls, central tower and cisterns) of this castle, which was built by the Pisan family Donoratico della Gherardesca, dates back to the XVI century.
