RECIPES>FIRST COURSE>MALLOREDDUS WITH SAUSAGE
 


Ingredients:

- 600 g Malloreddus  (typical Sardinian pasta)
- 100 g fresh Sardinian sausage
- 1 kg tomatoes

150 g Sardinian Pecorino cheese
-
Onion, saffron, olive oil, salt

Cut the sausage into small cubes. Fry 1 onion and the sausage to a light brown and add sieved tomatoes. After about 10 minutes, add powdered saffron and salt. Cook over low heat for 50 minutes. Cook the malloreddus in boiling salted water. When done, put them in a bowl and add the sauce and grated cheese.
