POPULATION AND ENVIRONMENT
Population
Porto Cervo, Baja Sardinia and Porto Rotondo are the main centres in Costa Smeralda. In the summer they are very crowded, but they empty during the winter.
Environment
In Arzachena there is a big rock which is known as the "Mushroom Rock". It looks like a mushroom, and that's why this area was called Turubulus Maior (Big Mushroom) during the roman period.
Travelling along the road from Arzachena to Porto Cervo, after about 10 km, there is a dirt road on the left that will lead you to the top of Monte Moro.
From there you can enjoy a wonderful view, it will make up for the journey!
