SANTA MARIA NAVARRESE BEACH

Position
About  8 km north of Tortolì.

How to get there
From Tortolì take the S.S. 125 towards Lotzorai; immediately after the village, turn right and you will reach Santa Maria Navarrese after about 3 km. The beach stands in front of the village.

Description
The beach is closed southwards by rocks and northwards by the small tourist port. The scenery is characterized by a typical Saracen tower and by yellow-green trees all around.

SP suggest
S. Maria is an excellent starting-point towards the very beautiful creeks and the spectacular rocks of the Orosei Gulf. 
You can hire a rubber dinghy or choose to sail on a barge. The rubber dinghy give you the possibility of sailing freely: you can stop whenever and wherever you want and choose your travelling companions. The barge is a more comfortable solution: you can sunbathe on board and there is usually a good fish lunch; moreover, the barge is not as tossed up and down as the rubber dinghy.
