One of the best periods to visit Sardinia on your two-wheeled vehicle is September. The long, empty, white and sandy beaches stretch out as far as what seems to be eternity, enhanced by the warm September sunshine embracing you while wheeling through this heaven of natural beauty.
This feeling convinced Sandro Cresto to organise "Between land and sky", an entire week of cycling from Alghero to Chia, with a rather particular aim in mind: discovering the savage-romantic Western Coast of Sardinia.
