- how to get to Calagonone

from Cagliari: take the S.S. 131 to Sassari. Once you get near Abbasanta, after Oristano, turn for Nuoro. Exit Nuoro on the S.S.129 to Orosei. After 20 km, near Traversa, turn right for Dorgali. From Dorgali follow the signs for Cala Gonone, approx. 7 km away.

from Olbia: you have two choices. Take the S.S. 125, beautiful but tiring, to Orosei-Dorgali. Arrive in Dorgali and follow the signs for Cala Gonone approx. 7 km away.
You can also take the S.S. 131 to Nuoro: 23 km from Siniscola you will find the junction for Dorgali.

At Cala Gonone you have to arrange to be picked up by the Zodiac from the beach of Cala Golontzè at the end of your trek.

Trekking "from bay to bay" in the Gulf of Orosei is beautiful in every season.
In winter you will mostly enjoy the shape of the rock, the canyons and teh clouds high in the sky. Summer brings the enchanting perfume of the sea, brought through the gorges by the summer breeze.
