SWEETS

The most famous dessert is sa sebada: it is made with the same dough used for ravioli, filled with lemon-flavoured cheese, fried in olive oil and served with honey or sugar.

Another typical dessert is sos hulurzones de arrehottu, filled with lemon-flavoured ricotta, then fried and served with honey.

Sa huffettura (orange dessert) is used at weddings and made of almonds, honey and orange peel.
Sos pilichittos are Carnival sweets, a sort of cream puff with no filling, covered with frosting.
Every party must have marigosos: they are made of sugar, beaten egg-white and sweet almonds.
Su cohone hun sapa, a mixture of flour, honey, dried figs, raisins, nuts and "sapa" (must).
