TIRED BUT HAPPY
By this time overloaded with sacks, I went towards the door, pausing for one last glance at the market: a child was dozing in a sweaty mother's arms, a fat gentleman was elbowing his way through the crowd. It all gave me a pleasant feeling: what a joy to be among "real" people!
Perhaps my purchases hadn't been shrewd ones; perhaps I'd bought too much (that was the message from the weight I was hauling); perhaps when I got home, my wife would find something to complain about...
But one thing was absolutely certain: I felt great!
