WHAT TO EXPECT
- Atmosphere
Located among the narrow streets of this seaside village in the hotel of the same name. A small restaurant seating only 25. Elegant and refined. As it's always full, it's better to book - or to wait; it's worth it. The restaurant opens during tourist season but is known for its quality and hospitality. Located in an old fishermen's house.
- Food
The sampler menu offers the best of the day's catch. Among the most popular dishes is spaghetti Carloforte-style, with a fresh tuna sauce.
- Specialities
Fish or prawn tartar with quail's eggs and a spoonful of caviar served on an ice-cold plate. The smoked house mullet or grouper is exceptional, the lobster terrine delicate and delicious. Desserts to make your head spin: saffron-flavoured cream with chocolate truffles and winter cherries, ice-cream with hot caramelized fruit and torrone from Tonara.
- Wines
: the best regional labels; the choice of oils is also excellent.
- Average Price:
€ 46.00 |
